Circular nickel lever movement, 15 jewels • guilloché dial overlaid with translucent blue enamel, stylized hands • gold bezel stamped MC for Maurice Couet overlaid with white enamel, Roman numerals spaced by floral medallions • agate case with cut corners, diamond-set accents to the corners, hinged strut • case signed Cartier, N.Y., movement and strut signed European Watch & Clock Co., Inc, case and strut with hand-stamped reference numbers

Art Deco Rose Quartz Desk Clock. A Fine and Very Attractive Art Deco Gilt Brass, Hardstone, Rose Quartz and Enamel 8-Days Desk Clock. Signed Gübelin, Lucerne, 8 days, No. 23’068, Circa 1935.

Mechanical eight day lever movement, 15 jewels, translucent pink and blue guilloché dial, large gilt outlined Arabic numerals, inner railway minute divisions, finely decorated gilt and black hands, square-shaped gilt brass case with black scalloped outer case secured by four screws, all set atop an oval-shaped green, black and gilt enamel base which sits atop a larger rectangular-shaped rose quartz base, the top of the clock hosts two hardstone figures playing a drum with a hardstone dog sitting close by, case, dial and movement signed base 6.5 inches long, 2 inches wide, overall height 9.5 inches
