Ladies Fob Watches. Fob watch is another term for pocket watch, however, it is well suited to watches which were made to hang either on a pendant or lapel rather than in a gentleman’s pocket. Ladies fob watches from the Art Deco era were glamorous in design. They could be made to hang from either a pendant or lapel and were often decorated in a way which concealed the watch, for example, they could be disguised as either a pendant or a brooch. Many would be set with gemstones.
Below are some examples and price guides of Art Deco ladies fob watches including an onyx and diamond fob watch by Chaumet and a Tiffany & Co diamond watch.
